German potato salad with bacon
Potato salad is a mandatory dish at the Oktoberfest. Variants of its implementation there is a great variety, but the same ingredients are potatoes and onions. In this recipe the salad complemented the bacon and sausage, which makes it very hearty. Sauce-the filling can vary, adding a little mustard or mayonnaise and add plenty of parsley! It gives the salad a refreshing taste and makes it easier to taste perception.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes

    2 piece

  • Red onion

    1 piece

  • Sausage

    100 g

  • Bacon

    2 slice

  • Cucumber

    4 piece

  • Parsley

    1 coup

  • Vegetable oil

    2 Tbsp

  • Vinegar

    1 tsp

  • Sugar

    1 pinch

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

Cooking

Potatoes for salad should be boiled in their skins. This can be done in advance. Potatoes peel and cut into slices. Onions cut into rings.

The bacon and lightly fry on a dry pan, then add half of the onion. Cook all together three minutes, cool slightly.

Slice the cucumbers, sausage, and finely chopped parsley. Mix the ingredients for the filling. In a bowl, combine all the components of the salad, pour dressing.
