Cooking
The original recipe made with flounder, but had the haddock (cod family)
Rinse fish fillets, lightly season with salt-pepper, sprinkle with curry powder and stir. Fish will be yellow. The root of ginger, peel and thinly slice (slices, cubes... as you like)
Turn on the oven at 200*C. At the bottom of the baking dish pour vegetable oil, put a layer of fish, sprinkle it with ginger, mint and dill. I did 2 layers of fish sprinkled with spices.
Cream mix with the sauce (I had fish sauce, it is quite salty so do not add some salt), pour the fish and put it into the preheated oven.
After 40 minutes the fish is ready. To this fish as a side dish well suited boiled potatoes with butter and dill. While the fish was flaky, cooked and potatoes.
Photos, of course, is not very not photogenic dish :) but the taste is excellent: juicy tender fish in a spicy sauce. You don't distinguish the separate flavors of mint, fennel, ginger - it has an interesting bouquet with a slight pungent aftertaste. Difficult to describe, got to try...
