Chinese sweet and sour chicken
This recipe is a modification of recipe for a great St. Petersburg chef Ilya Lazerson of transmission "World Chef". The original recipe is pork and it is breaded in starch and fried in deep fat. Following the wishes of my household, I made this recipe more "healthy" - replaced the pork in the chicken, removed the starch and frying in deep fat, while maintaining the flavors of the original recipe. Cook it for a few years - we all love it. In this recipe highlights the flavor of typical Chinese cuisine - a combination of ginger, garlic and hot pepper with soy sauce. Despite my modification is all gone. And the combination of this flavor with tomato and sweet and sour flavors makes this dish quite typical for the Chinese cuisine taste. Add green onions and cilantro enhances the Asian accent.

Ingredients

  • Chicken breast
