Cooking
In forcemeat add the grated onion 1 PC., passed through the press garlic, rice, water, salt and pepper and mix well. Leave at room temperature for 1 hour.
In a wide saucepan with a thick bottom heat 2 tbsp oil, add grated onion 1 pieces, simmer 1-2 minutes, then add peppers, sliced into thin strips, and simmer for 2-3 minutes
Add tomatoes, peeled from the skin, and the wine, bring to the boil, season with salt and pepper, simmer 2-3 min., add broth and bring to a boil. Remove the heat and add Basil and oregano, a pinch of sugar and simmer on low flame for 4-5 minutes.
Of minced meat formed into small meatballs.
Carefully lower them into the boiling sauce and simmer for 30-35 minutes until fully cooked. Remove from heat and add to the sauce 2 tbsp olive oil. The sauce will turn out brilliant, and the oil will not lose its useful value.
Serve with greens, very tasty with feta cheese or your favorite spicy white brine cheese!
