Cooking
Prepare the shortbread dough. In the bowl of a blender add the flour, butter, egg yolks, sugar and a pinch of salt.
Pour and collect the dough into a ball, if the dough crumbles, you can add 1-2 tablespoons of water. But in any case do not try to interfere with the dough a little longer, shortcrust pastry does not like warm hands. Knead homogeneous dough. Wrap it with cling film and send in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Going to do a custard test. In a saucepan add water and butter. Put on fire and bring to a boil.
Will sapim all the flour on low heat, vigorously stirring, leave the mixture until it thickens and will lag behind the walls and bottom of the pan.
Remove from heat and leave to cool slightly.
To the cooled mixture add the sugar.
One by one break the eggs, stirring well after each addition.
The dough consistency should be like thick cream.
Get dough and roll out into a rectangle 5 mm thick. Cut out ovals.
On a baking tray lined with parchment, lay out the ovals.
Choux dough is put in a pastry bag and the top sand ovals will make eight choux pastry.
I was left with choux pastry, and I push the tray in the shape of different figures.
Bake in a preheated 180 degrees oven about 30 minutes (please be guided by your oven, time may need less or more)
Ready cookies cool. For the filling, take the jam very well, if it will be of two types. I had orange and blueberry from the company Mahe.
Half of wasterock filled blueberry jam and the other half orange. Very convenient to use jam in a soft pack from the company Mahe with dispenser – you can quickly and accurately to decorate all the cookies.
