Description
Recently decided to re-read Remarque's novel "Shadows in Paradise". And came across mention of this wonderful dish as "Goulash in cegelski", wonderful because I've managed not only to cook but also taste. The main characters of the novel, Natasha and Robert, such a pleasure to absorb this goulash that I couldn't bear to continue to read until I make myself the same. Found a recipe online and now... I can only say: delicious, hearty, easy. The site already has a recipe for goulash in cegelski, but it differs from offered by me.

Cooking
Onion cut into half rings and fry in fat until yellow-Golden hue. Remove from heat, sprinkle with paprika and add a little water (about 100-150 ml).
Put the chopped meat, salt, cumin, crushed garlic and simmer for about half an hour, add the cabbage and sauté for a further 30 minutes. At the end pour well mixed flour, sour cream and let stand a few minutes.
Before serving, sprinkle with chopped dill. The hero of the novel claims that the next day, the goulash is even better. It is really so.
