Buuz/buuz
Mongolian dumplings that are steamed.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    250 g

  • Meat

    300 g

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Garlic

    2 tooth

  • Water

    5 Tbsp

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

  • Cumin

Mix the meat, onion and garlic.

Add 3-5 tbsp of water to cold ground easier to work. Add salt, pepper and cumin.

Flour mix with water, knead the dough and leave for 15 minutes. Then divide the dough into pieces with a thickness of 2 cm.

Take one piece of dough, and roll it round object to cut out circles. To do the same with the other pieces of dough.

On each circle put a small handful of meat.

Sculpt here are boozy. This is the most traditional form.

Place the buuz in mantovano (if not Montevarchi, it is possible in a steamer) and cook for 15-20 minutes. Bon appetit!
