Bread wheat, rye and chicory
Girls and boys, today I come to You with interesting recipes of wheat-rye bread. And I remembered about it after posting here the recipe of coffee "new Orleans", because there used chicory. The bread is perfect with first dishes and sandwiches: crispy crust, dense crumb. The bread is good cut into thin slices.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    275 g

  • Rye flour

    275 g

  • Salt

    1.5 tsp

  • Sugar

    1.5 Tbsp

  • Yeast

    1.5 tsp

  • Vinegar

    0.5 tsp

  • Chicory

    1.5 Tbsp

  • Cumin

    2 tsp

  • Water

    420 ml

  • Vegetable oil

    3 Tbsp

Lay all ingredients in a bucket according to HP instructions. If not HP, then make the dough by hand: in a small amount of warm water (35-40°C), add yeast, stir and set aside for 10-15 minutes. Sift the two kinds of flour, add the chicory, salt, sugar, mix well. Add water with yeast and rest of water, knead the dough. Add cumin, vinegar and vegetable oil. Knead the dough well. Remove the proofing in a warm place for about 1 hour (the dough should be well suited). Then kill it, put in a greased loaf pan, put in a warm place for 30-40 minutes to rise. Bake at 180-200°C until tender. Be guided by your oven!

Ready bread out of the bucket, wrap it in a towel and allow the bread to cool completely.
