Pumpkin scones
Incredibly flavorful baked goods, the taste is very reminiscent of gingerbread. These scones are very quick and easy to prepare. And the combination of pumpkin and a whole set of spices, in my opinion, just perfect for cold autumn days.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    4 cup

  • Sugar

    6 Tbsp

  • Leavening agent

    2 tsp

  • Salt

    0.5 tsp

  • Cinnamon

    0.75 tsp

  • Nutmeg

    0.75 tsp

  • Carnation

    0.333 tsp

  • Ginger

    0.333 tsp

  • Butter

    150 g

  • Pumpkin

    500 g

  • Milk

    4 Tbsp

  • Powdered sugar

    1 cup

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Sunflower oil

    1 Tbsp

Cooking

First make pumpkin puree. Bake the pumpkin flesh about 10 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees. Then Porirua blender.

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and spices.

Add chopped into small cubes the butter and mix with flour mixture until obtaining fine crumbs.

Mix pumpkin puree, milk (3 tablespoons) and the egg.

Mix both mixtures, knead the dough, roll into a ball.

Roll out into a circle with a thickness of about 2-2,5 cm and cut into 8 triangles.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Baking tray lay a parchment and grease with sunflower oil. I took the oil TM IDEAL.

Bake for approximately 20 minutes or until Golden brown. Cool on a wire rack.

For the glaze mix powdered sugar, remaining spices and little by little pour in the milk, stir until the consistency of thick cream.

Apply the glaze on the cooled scones and serve. It is very tasty.
