Caramel-nut vegetable crackers
Crunchy, delicious, amazing caramel crackers. Easy to prepare, and so nice to eat with some tea or coffee!

Ingredients

  • Vegetable oil

    3 Tbsp

  • Brown sugar

    0.66 cup

  • Flour

    1.5 cup

  • Leavening agent

    1.5 tsp

  • Walnuts

    0.5 cup

  • Water

    0.25 cup

In a pan, pour the water (3st. L.) and sprinkle the sugar over high heat, cook the caramel until Golden brown. Because we take the brown sugar, caramel like caramel it turns out)). The cooled caramel to break into pieces and grind in a blender or coffee grinder.

Mix the flour, baking powder and caramel. Add the vegetable oil, mix thoroughly (RUB so that the oil is well distributed). Add chopped (not too finely)walnuts. Pour in the water. Knead the dough. To form a flat bar.

Send the bar in a preheated oven at 180-190 degrees for 10 minutes, then reduce the temperature by 20 degrees and bake another 20 minutes. The finished loaf cover with a towel and leave to cool.

The cooled loaf cut into slices ( the loaf turns out quite dense and crumbly, thinly slice hard, but you should try (I have not really happened)). It is already possible to start tasting, but the crackers so the crackers! Spread on a baking sheet and send in the oven at 120-130 gr. for about 20 minutes. I sprinkled more sugar-I love sugar crackers-but it is possible and without it.
