Kulich Easter
I want to share the cake recipe that I use for many years. First, because it is already proven. Second, without particular difficulties and "Modernista". Well, simply because it is delicious!!! My family likes these cakes because they are fragrant, sweet and airy. The recipe is convenient because the time in between, while suitable dough, you can safely spend on other things around the house on Maundy Thursday!))) Good luck!!!

Ingredients

  • Flour

    1 kg

  • Milk

    1.5 cup

  • Chicken egg

    6 piece

  • Butter

    300 g

  • Sugar

    2 cup

  • Yeast

    50 g

  • Salt

    1 tsp

  • Raisins

    150 g

  • Orange zest

  • Vanilla

    1 pack

Dissolve yeast in warm milk. The milk should be slightly warm so that the yeast does not "cooked". Add half the sifted flour, stir. Put the dough in a warm place. 6 yolks with sugar, add vanilla and softened butter.

When the leavened dough will increase twice, to salt, add pounded with sugar and butter yolks, mix well. Add pre-beaten egg whites 6 eggs. Mix well. Pour the remaining flour. Knead thoroughly. The dough should not be too thick, but should lag behind the hands.

Put the dough into heat. When the dough is doubled, punch down. Punch dough down twice.

Once the batter is ready for the third time, add washed and dried raisins and candied fruit. I use the peel, grated, fresh orange and lemon. The orange can be rubbed on the larger grater.

Spread out over the cups, coated with vegetable oil.

Put in a preheated 160 degree oven. Small tins for 30-40 minutes, large for 60-70 minutes. The temperature in 20-30 minutes increase to 180 degrees.
