Calzone with tomato and mozzarella
These delicious pies will satisfy those who love the pizza Margarita and salad "Caprese". This is a closed pie with different fillings, the most famous of Naples. Basically, it's the same pizza, just not open and closed. To prepare the calzone in different ways, and bake in the oven, and fry in olive oil. The option which I suggest is certainly not the most useful, but sometimes you can... that is very often cooked in southern Italy.

Ingredients

  • Water

    300 ml

  • Flour

    500 g

  • Yeast

    25 g

  • Olive oil

    5 Tbsp

  • Salt

  • Tomato

    2 piece

  • Tomatoes in own juice

    200 g

  • Mozzarella

    500 g

  • Garlic

    2 tooth

  • Basil

Cooking

Dissolve yeast in water, adding a pinch of salt and 1 teaspoon sugar. Let stand for 10 minutes. Add the flour and olive oil. Knead a soft dough. Let rise for 1 hour.

Prepare the filling: tomatoes, cleaned, cut into cubes. Finely chop the garlic and lightly fry in olive oil.

Add tomatoes and canned tomatoes slices without the peel. To extinguish 5-7 minutes. Cool. Add the fresh Basil. (If any).

Ready divide the dough into 8-10 parts.

Roll out and put into a special mold. If not, then just roll out.

Put on one half of the dough part of the tomato mixture, top with slices of mozzarella.

To form a Patty in the shape of a large dumpling or using molds.

Heat olive oil (can be vegetable) and fry the sole until it will turn brown. Dry on a towel. And serve immediately, hot, delicious mozzarella cheese that stretched. Bon appetit!
