Lenten
Recipe savoury baking. Cooking it is very simple and does not take much time, but the cakes will be very useful to any meal, for Breakfast with you to work or to dinner. Absolutely simple and unpretentious ingredients will sparkle with new taste. Without eggs, yeast and dairy products.

Ingredients

  • Carrots

    0.5 piece

  • Flour

    1 cup

  • Oat flakes

    0.5 cup

  • Olive oil

    50 ml

  • Water

    100 ml

  • Paprika sweet

    0.333 tsp

  • Spices

  • Salt

  • Leavening agent

    1 tsp

  • Sugar

    0.5 tsp

Cooking

Carrots grate on a fine grater.

Sift flour, add baking powder, 1/2 tsp sugar, mix well. Add olive oil (can be more), a little stir the butter into the flour.

Season with salt to taste, add the paprika, aromatic herbs (ideally fresh), I used a mixture of "Provence herbs". Mix well.

Add cereal and mix until smooth, batter will be slightly watery, if it is too "cool", it is possible to add a little more water.

Form to lay a paper for baking and put the dough.

Bake at 180 deg. about 20 minutes (focus on your oven), until it will turn brown and dry kindling.

Can be served simply with jam, or as a complement to any meal, even if you take a job a couple of pieces, this baking you are sure to delight. Bon appetit !
