Description
Of course, you can use real rose petals but I prefer more "earthly" products. In this case my choice fell on... beets. I know that this vegetable is somehow unfairly deprived of attention of many hostesses and cooks. But it is possible to prepare so many delicious and interesting dishes! For example, this unusual dessert: sweet beet chips with spicy Apple caramel sauce!

Cooking
Make beet chips. Boil beetroot, peel and slice more thin slices (preferably with a trowel Berner). Sprinkle with oil (quite a bit). Beets spread on a greased baking sheet. Cook in a preheated oven (very desirable oven with fan!) at 200 degrees for 10 minutes, then flip and bake 10 minutes. I did in the halogen oven, at 200 degrees for 15 minutes.
Get these beautiful beet chips, like the petals of roses.
To make the sauce. For this Apple wash, peel and remove the core. Not cut very thin slices.
To put the sugar in a dry bright pot or pan with a thin bottom. Heat the sugar over medium heat until Golden brown (caution! heats up very quickly, about a minute).
Then gradually pour the water, add the apples. Reduce the heat, cook with the lid closed for 10 minutes.
By immersion blender to make applesauce. Add cinnamon and ginger, and again bring to boil. Allow to cool and serve with beet chips.
