Rice ice cream with orange juice
Risovoe ice cream with orange juice and mint syrup. Cooked rice ice cream for the first time, I was very interested to try it. The result exceeded all my expectations, the ice cream was very delicious and refreshing! I'm worried that it's just frozen rice porridge, but when you freeze the rice changes the structure and even taste. I decided not to use the blender to rice grain was felt and made the ice cream more interesting. And to give a brighter taste, I added sweet orange and mint syrup, to me, this combination is very impressed. The result was a very useful summer dessert that is sure to appeal to both kiddies and adults.

Ingredients

  • Mint

    1.5 coup

  • Sugar

    200 g

  • Water

    100 ml

  • Figure

  • Milk

    250 ml

  • Cream

    80 ml

  • Orange

  • Mint syrup

The first thing you need to prepare mint syrup. This mint wash, dry and separate the leaves.

Mint leaves put in a bowl and pour hot water, not boiling water. Leave for 10-15 minutes to infuse. Then crumple them with a pestle or spoon, extracting the nectar from mint leaves. The water will begin to acquire a Golden-green hue.

To the juice add the sugar. I used fruit sugar TM Mistral, it requires two times less, i.e. 100 g

Put the syrup on medium heat and cook 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. In the end to obtain a viscous liquid Golden color. Leave the syrup aside and allow it to cool completely. It will become even more malleable, like liquid honey.

Pour the rice milk and cook on low heat for 20 minutes.

From orange squeeze juice.

To the rice add the orange juice and mint syrup. The amount of syrup vary to taste, the mixture should be sweet. When frozen the sweetness will be felt not so much as warm. Put the rice on the heat for another 10 minutes.

The rice is slightly cooled, add the cream. Stir and lightly crumple the rice with a pestle.

Spread the rice over the cups, it turns out exactly 6 pieces. If you don't have molds, ice cream can be put in the container.

Put in the freezer overnight. To easily get ice cream from the molds, hold them a little under hot water.
