Cake of puff pastry with chicken
The recipe was taken from Burda magazine, I have slightly modified. I do not want to present the pie, because the dough is the usual (shopping), namely stuffing))))

Ingredients

  • Puff pastry

    1 pack

  • Chicken breast

    500 g

  • Flour

    50 g

  • Onion

    2 piece

  • Butter

    1 Tbsp

  • Sunflower oil

    1 Tbsp

  • Lemon juice

  • Salt

  • Nutmeg

  • Cream

    3 Tbsp

  • Cabbage

    100 g

  • Yolk egg

    1 piece

  • Milk

    1 Tbsp

  • Water

    200 ml

The dough to thaw according to instructions on the package. For the stuffing chicken meat cut into cubes with a side of not more than 1 cm and sprinkle with flour.

Cut onion finely and lightly fry in butter ( 1 tbsp plums. oil + 1 tbsp raises. oil).

Add chicken meat and fry it while stirring until toasty brown. Then add the lemon juice and water. Simmer for 8-10 minutes. Season the stew with salt, nutmeg and cream. Cool. Cabbage to chop and mix with stew. The stuffing is ready.

Divide the dough into 2 parts. Roll out layers on one spread the filling with the edges of the egg-milk mixture (whisk the yolk with milk). Cover all the second layer, again lubricated. Filling, more suited of course for pies, as it is not homogeneous, but I wanted to bake it a cake)))
