Chicken cutlets in Portuguese/Croquetes de frango

Boil or roast the chicken. To separate the meat from bone and grind in a blender. Remove skin smoked sausage, cut into, and then also grind in a blender. Carrots to grate on a fine grater. Meanwhile, cook the potatoes in their skins in enough salt water. Drain off water, peel potatoes and make puree.

Melt the margarine in a frying pan and fry the chopped smoked sausage and carrots until Golden brown. Remove from heat, add the chicken and mashed potatoes. All very good stir until smooth. Season with salt and pepper, add the ground nutmeg and parsley, mix well again, transfer to a plate and allow to cool.

When the mass has cooled, form patties, dip them in beaten eggs and then coat in breadcrumbs. Fry in deep fat (i.e. a large number of sunflower oil).

A plate with a paper towel and spread Pozarevac cutlets in a single layer. When the cloth will absorb the grease and put meatballs in the prepared dish for the table.
