Cooking
Dough: Sifted flour mixed with powdered sugar (the original 125 g, in my opinion, quite 80 g) and salt. Add very cold butter, diced, and chopped into crumbs. In flour crumbs, add the egg yolk and water. Quickly knead the dough, which roll into a ball, wrap in cling film and place in the fridge for an hour.
Apples cleaned and cut into thin slices. In a saucepan simmer apples with sugar and wine, adding zest and cinnamon, for 15-20 minutes, until jam. Cool.
From dough to pinch off a small piece. The rest roll the dough between two sheets of parchment and put in a split form d 24 cm, covered with baking paper.
On a sheet of pastry spread applesauce. The edges of the dough wrapped apples.
The remaining piece of dough to roll out. Cut "grapes", leaves to form sprouts.
For the Apple sauce put the dough in the shape of a grape bunch. Coat the dough with the lightly beaten egg whites and sprinkle with sugar.
Bake pie in a preheated 180*C oven for about 45-50 minutes. Completely cool pie on wire rack.
With a drink Divine enjoyment. Yet there is a legend that the last temptation of. Anthony was tempted with food...
