Description

Vintage Apple miroton
In modern cooking miroton is a French dish, something resembling risotto. However, in particular in the 18-19 century, the miroton is also called sweet dish. This dessert won me over with its rich fruity taste and delicious aroma of apples and cinnamon, and alcohol brings its own unique touch. This is delicious served with ice cream, because it so perfectly accentuates the sweetness of the dessert!

Cooking

step-0
Total cooking time does not included time spent on marinating apples. Apples clean from the skin and core, cut into slices (not very thin).
step-1
Mix vodka (this time I got the balm, I tried brandy is also very tasty) with sugar, cinnamon and the juice of quarter of lemon.
step-2
Apples put in a deep dish, pour the marinade, stir and leave for 3-4 hours. The fluid drained.
step-3
Mix the Apple and apricot jam, pour into mold (I have a glass size of 20 by 15). Sprinkle apples.
step-4
Put in a preheated 180 degree oven for 30 minutes. Several times in the cooking process to mix. Ready apples to be soft but keep the shape. Very tasty served with ice cream.
