Description
Found in their "food bins" of interesting cakes - Shortbread with the addition of ground rice. Looked in the search engine - there are recipes, but are quite different from each other. Had to use the Internet, I wanted to know whose this kitchen! It turns out that shortbread is a traditional pastries such countries: Scotland, Denmark, Sweden, Ireland. It's crumbly, buttery cookies. Modern variations of the recipe allow you to use rice or corn flour, by which the cookie is more crumbly. Traditionally, the cookies are baked in the cake, which is then cut into slices. In Scotland such a layer is used as the basis for a variety of cakes. Simple, tasty and festive!
