Cooking
In a food processor to combine flour and powdered sugar, stir for a few seconds.
Add the cold butter and stir the dough until homogeneous mass.
I want to see what the dough is like wet sand.
Put the dough on the bottom of the form with a detachable rim. Don't forget to make a side with a size of 2-3 cm.
Fold the foil in 2 layers and cover with the pastry.
Send in the oven for 12 minutes at 160 degrees, carefully remove the foil and again send in the oven for 12 minutes until it will turn brown.
In a saucepan combine sugar and cornstarch, mix well.
Here is the crystallized ginger.
Grind the crystallized ginger.
Pour in the sugar and milk all at once and mix. Add vanilla. Cook, stirring, over medium heat until the milk becomes thick and is bubbling. When this is noticed and cook for another 2 minutes. Remove from the heat.
1 Cup milk pour eggs in thin stream and whisk to mix.
All back into the saucepan and add the chopped ginger. Cook, stirring, until bubbling, reduce the heat and cook for another 2 minutes, stirring.
Pan to dip in ice water to stop the process, stir until cool, about 3 minutes. I took the ginger from the mixture, as it is too rich for us. Pour on the dough, cover and refrigerate for 4 hours.
