Carpaccio of salted herring
A very interesting snack. Thin slices of salted herring in combination with a sweet sauce and a slice of lemon get a new unobtrusive and interesting taste. Try it, you'll like it.

Ingredients

  • Herring

    2 piece

  • Apple

    1 piece

  • Horseradish

    1 Tbsp

  • Mayonnaise

    2 Tbsp

  • Lemon

    0.5 piece

  • Green onions

    3 sprig

Everything is quite simple. Cut the herring into fillets without skin and bones. Put the fillet on a piece of cling film, alternating wide portion with a narrow fillet.

Removing the "candy" in the freezer for 12-24 hours. The shooting part of the film and grater-slicer whittling herring roll very thin (1.5 mm) slices. You can try to slice the loaf with a very sharp knife.

Spread the slices of herring on a plate, covered with film or foil and before serving remove the plate in the freezer.

While herring is cold, clean higher sweet Apple peel and seed boxes, cut into slices in a pan, pour 2 tablespoons of water and put on medium heat under the lid.

Stew the Apple until fully soft, shred into mashed and cooled. Mix in a Cup of applesauce, horseradish and mayonnaise. Half lemon cut into thin slices quartered.

Remove the carpaccio from the freezer, in the center of the plate put the sauce, add the lemon slices, green onion or mild onion, decorate with cranberries or so, as guided by your imagination. Serve immediately on the table.
