Cakes
Nearing Easter. And though it seems that there is still time, it is, as always, flies by. So I decided to do a run-through of some of the dishes for Easter. This edible candle, reminiscent of cake "Potato", covered with colored chocolate icing. It will be interesting for both children and adults.

    180 ml

    150 g

Cooking

step-0
Here is the cookie I had - "Maria"
step-1
Cookies grind into crumbs. I shredded in the processor.
step-2
One bar of chocolate to grate (should be about 2 tbsp). To add to the chips (not all the photos are done, all bright, hard to see). And now must be done in strict sequence. This recipe I have for a long time, but did the first time and made a lot of mistakes. And now, taught by bitter experience, write how to do to avoid them. So, for the chips and chocolate add a Cup of sugar (can be less, if not great lovers of sweet). Stir. Add the softened butter (100 g). All carefully peremenam-peremeshav AEM. And only now we start to pour a little milk. It might be less than stated in the ingredients. Bring the mass to solidity, from which it was possible to sculpt balls. Put in the fridge for about an hour.
step-3
After an hour take out the "dough" and shape the balls-the balls. In principle, the shape of the candles can be any. But since preparing for Easter, the egg shape is very appropriate. I fashioned the balls, then gave them the shape of an egg and put in a tray from under the eggs.
step-4
Melt in a water bath or in a microwave remaining chocolate and butter (50 g). Divide it by shots. Glasses as much as colors of dye you choose: 3,4 or 5. I only had 3 sachets of gel dye. Within each glass with chocolate added dye. The glass is desirable to keep in the tank with warm water.
step-5
Now begins the tedious process. But we do once a year, and you can bother. Colored chocolate should be applied to each candle the egg. I tried... And dip... the mass is no easy plopping into the glass. And a brush to apply... But then adapted to apply the glaze by the handle of a teaspoon as satelcom. Well, if the handle is slightly curved. Apply the icing, insert a small candle (I was thin from Church, I cut it, cleaned up the wax, releasing a piece of wick) Here is our edible Easter candles ready!
