Green cake with custard and caramel
I was inspired pastries with spinach... Turned on the imagination, took a risk, tried it and fell in love with this pie at first bite... Tender and delicious... Come in for a slice of pie...

Ingredients

  • Spinach

    50 g

  • Margarine

    50 g

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Salt

  • Oat flour

    2 Tbsp

  • Sugar

    0.5 cup

  • Vanilla sugar

    1 tsp

  • Pudding

    1 Tbsp

  • Soda

    0.25 tsp

  • Flour

    1 cup

  • Yolk egg

    2 piece

  • Sugar

    3 Tbsp

  • Vanilla sugar

    0.5 tsp

  • Flour

    3 Tbsp

  • Milk

    500 ml

  • Butter

    25 g

  • Water

    2 Tbsp

  • Sugar

    0.25 cup

Cooking

For a start fill it with the spinach with boiling water for 10 minutes.

Then drain, wring out and put into a blender, add the egg.

Beat with a blender until smooth.

Cold margarine grate, it sift the flour mixed with soda.

Fingers grind into crumbs. Then add oatmeal ( I'm the grinding rolled oats in a blender).

Then sugar, vanilla sugar, pinch of salt and dry pudding. Mix well.

Pour the spinach-egg mixture.

Knead the dough on the table, pour 2 tbsp flour, put the dough and press down it. In the package and in the cold.

Prepare the cream. Yolks and sugar, vanilla sugar in a saucepan.

Mix well, add 200 ml of warm milk and pour the sifted flour, stir well.

Pour rest of the milk and on slow fire to brew until thick cream, stirring constantly.

In the end, add butter, stir and allow to cool. My cream so yellow because of the eggs I have, from domestic chickens.

Form ( I have a frying pan without a handle with a diameter of 26 cm) lay a parchment, grease with vegetable oil, put the dough.

With your fingers mash at the bottom of the mold as thin as possible, but to avoid holes forming bumpers. Your fingers don't stick, I lightly sprinkled with flour.

Laid out on top of the custard, flattened. Left side 1 cm above the cream, the rest is cut off.

Trim the dough and kneaded it on the table with flour, rolled, stacked, cut out circles, then using a stack made of the leaves ( for the idea thanks to Svetlana Metha)

Then with a toothpick I made the leaf on the line, imitating a real leaf.

First, did the edging of the leaves. Then poured the caramel ( I forgot to take pictures). For caramel sugar cover with water, bring to heat until the sugar is dissolved and caramelized. Caramel hardens quickly, so the cake immediately pour the hot caramel.

On top I decorated with leaves.

Bake at 180 degrees for 40 minutes. Then remove and fully cool in the form.

Gently remove the cake from the mold ( I did this with two large flat plates: first turned one, then a main dish). And serve.
