The ingredients for making cakes.
Before you start making dough for cakes, you need saffron (1/2 tsp) soaked in 1 tbsp hot boiled water.
3/4 Cup raisins, washed, soaked for 1 hour in cold water.
Of the total amount of sugar to take 2 tablespoons, add the warm milk, then add the sachet of granular yeast (10 gr.). Of the total amount of flour to take 2 tablespoons and add to warm milk mixture and yeast. The mixture was thoroughly mixed. Capacity with the mixture cover with a piece of cloth and put in warm place to dissolve the yeast.
In a separate bowl, beat the eggs (6 PCs) easy to foam.
After a certain time on the surface of the yeast mixture will appear on the cap of small bubbles. The dough is ready. To the dough add salt (1 teaspoon). Stir the mixture.
To the yeast mixture add the strained saffron infusion (1 tbsp.)
To connect the milk - yeast mixture, beaten eggs and the remaining sugar.
Gradually, portions add part of the flour, about 2 cups, mix gently.
Butter (180 gr.) melt on low heat. Oil cooled, add the warm melted butter into the bowl with the batter. Stir the mixture
Add to the dough candied fruits (3/4 Cup), add the washed, prepared raisins (3/4 Cup), add the rest of the flour. Carefully knead the dough. Unforgettable, that the total amount of flour for dough (4 cups)!
The capacity with the dough, cover with cling film or towel and put in warm place to rise. After the first rise punch down the dough and put to rise again.
Spread the dough in prepared form. The form test 1/3. Form with the dough cover with a light cloth and put on the delay 40 - 50 min.
