Family bast
Our family is still young and established tradition does not yet have. We are constantly experimenting with dishes and cuisines from different countries. Before "to think" only had two, and now her daughter is growing up and gradually moving on to a "normal" food. So the recipe for the competition "Family dish of the year" was hard enough to find a way that blended and harmonious taste and a good (or at least not harmful) for little girl. After much deliberation decided to stay on the cake. After the cake has long occupied an honored place on the Russian table. Even there is a saying – "Not red hut angles, and red cakes". So we decided to decorate their "house" pie with salmon and vegetables. Turned out very tender, juicy and incredibly delicious cake, which came to taste our entire family. Try it and you!

  • Olive oil

  • Lemon juice

    1 Tbsp

Start making the dough. I arrived little Snejanka. Bred yeast in warm milk. Break egg, add two tablespoons of olive oil, salt to taste. My assistant helps everything to mix well.

During this time my husband prepares the toppings. The fish separates from the bones, cut large pieces, salt and sprinkle with lemon juice. Leave it so for about 30 minutes.

Vegetables lightly fry in a pan greased with butter without salt and at a very low flame.

Cheese grate on a coarse grater, together with the garlic.

The parsley and dill finely chop and mix with cheese and garlic.

When the dough is ready roll out a thin layer, leaving a small bead for decoration of our bast. To my surprise, the hotel took the rolling pin and started to roll out right :) although I it is not specifically taught, apparently in women is in the blood :)

On top pour a layer of a mixture of grated cheese, herbs and garlic.

Next, stack the prepared salmon, sprinkle with red pepper (amount of pepper depends on your love of pepper).

Put in a baking dish. Decorate with strips of dough.

Allow doch grease it with egg yolk, and leave the pie for 15-20 minutes. Place our bast in the preheated oven and bake pie for 30-40 minutes at medium temperature.
