Delicate Crescent rolls with cheese flavor

Ingredients

  • Milk

    200 ml

  • Sugar

    2 Tbsp

  • Yeast

    1 Tbsp

  • Salt

    1 tsp

  • Butter

    40 g

  • Flour

    2 cup

    250 g

Yeast pour into a bowl, add 1 tsp sugar and flour, some warm milk, stir and leave for 10-15 minutes for fermentation

In the sifted flour pour the yeast, add remaining sugar, salt and milk, knead the dough.

Almost at the end of kneading add the oil.

The dough should be soft, elastic and easy to keep up with the hands and utensils.

Cover the dough with a cloth and leave the dough to rise in a warm place (about 40-60 minutes.

Divide the dough into equal balls (I got 18)- the number depends on what size rolls you want. Roll out each ball with a rolling pin into an oval, 3 mm thick, half put the plate of cheese on the other half to make 3 lengthwise incision, without cutting the dough to the end.

Roll in roll, but not too tightly, starting from the side with cheese.

Lay seam side down on a baking tray lined with baking paper, to give time for 15 minutes, brush with slightly beaten egg with milk and butter (1 egg, 1 tbsp milk, 1 tsp. vegetable oil)

Bake in a preheated 220°C oven for 12-15 min.
