Onion pie with bacon
Thin, crisp batter and tender flavorful stuffing!

Ingredients

  • Flour

    200 g

  • Butter

    200 g

  • Salt

    0.5 tsp

  • Water

    2 Tbsp

  • Bran

    2 Tbsp

  • Onion

    3 piece

  • Bacon

    100 g

  • Cream

    100 ml

  • Chicken egg

    2 piece

  • Cheese

    50 g

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

  • Vegetable oil

Cooking

Sift the flour on a working surface, add salt and diced butter.

The oil is triturated with flour until a homogeneous crumbs.

Add cold water, bran. Roll the dough into a ball, wrap with film and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.

Cut onion into half rings and fry until Golden brown in a small amount of vegetable oil.

The finished dough roll out thinly. I did it on a silicone Mat, and then just turned it over to the form.

Pour filling in pie and cover with the hanging edges. Put in oven preheated to 180 degrees for 60 minutes. I baked it first in normal mode, when the filling has darkened, turned on the convection with bottom heating. Therefore it is better initially to use the convection mode.
