Beef with plums in beer
I have a recipe in the records marked as "from Julia child". Not going to argue this because the recipe comes not from the book. But this is quite likely - very tasty!

Ingredients

  • Beef

    1.5 kg

  • Drain

    0.5 kg

  • Beer

    700 ml

  • Sugar

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

  • Vegetable oil

Cooking

Tenderloin of beef divided into three approximately equal parts, season with salt and pepper and fry in hot oil on both sides. I have the smaller pieces, I feel so comfortable.

Fried meat put on a baking pan (you can use a slow cooker represent this option). From plums remove the seeds and the inside of the fruit and sprinkle with sugar. Plums lay on the pieces of roasted meat.

Meat and plums pour the beer so that the beer coated the contents of the pan, and top all close foil.

Simmer in the oven for 2.5 hours at 200 °C (in the original). Or 2 hours by "Baking" in the slow cooker (I have).

Prepared meat cut into portions, put in a dish, to decorate with plums and herbs. This dish can be served warm or cold. Bon appetit!
