Butter beat with a mixer with the white sugar, continuing to whisk, add the eggs one by one. Mix the flour with baking powder and salt, add to butter-egg mixture and mix thoroughly. Add the cognac and the chocolate drops (if no drops, then finely ground chocolate). Stir.
Now spread the batter into the pan (if necessary, the form of grease). Put in oven and bake at 180*C until ready. Readiness check with a toothpick.
