Moussaka with a delicious cheese crust
Moussaka - traditional Greek dish of eggplant and lamb. Recipes of cooking a lot - they differ mainly by the number of vegetables that complement the eggplant. Sometimes, this dish uses beef or pork. But the classic moussaka is made only of lamb.

Ingredients

  • Chicken egg

  • Milk

    300 ml

  • Cheese

    150 g

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

1. Peel the potatoes, cut into slices and boil 5 minutes in salted water. Drain in a colander and drain off the water.

2. Eggplant wash and cut into lengthwise slices. Add salt and leave for 15 min.

3. Tomatoes pour over boiling water, peel and cut into thin slices.

4. Chop onion, sauté in 2 table. spoons of vegetable oil and put it from the pan. Pour 2 table. tablespoons of oil and fry the mince. Add the pressed garlic. Season with salt and pepper. Add the tomatoes, onions and roast for 10 min.

5. Fry the slices of eggplant.

6. Potatoes, roasted eggplant and minced meat with layers spread in a greased form, sprinkle salt and pepper. Pre-heat the oven to 200 degrees.

7. Whisk milk with eggs, season with salt and pepper. Add the cheese shavings and stir. The resulting mixture pour moussaka.

8. For 40 minutes bake in the oven until Golden brown.
