Cooking
Take everything required for the test components (sour cream is already opened :), I forgot that I was going to take pictures.)
Margarine melt on very low heat, stirring occasionally. Allow to cool a little. Add the egg yolks, stir; then the sour cream - stir again. Separately mix flour, baking powder and vanilla. Putting it all together (gradually adding the flour into the liquid part of the test and interfering with a heavy fork - whisking is not necessary). Here we get the dough, which put into the freezer for 15-20 minutes to cool slightly.
Take out the cooled dough, cut into desired number of pieces and form balls (the size you want, I was like walnuts, maybe a little less). Roll each ball to have quite a long time, because the dough, like shortbread, a few splits.
Then the most interesting, the original recipe sounded like "to make ezinye torso", which for me was always a mystery. In General, pulling the balls have to begin with the nose.
Then a few spines (I have more than 5 not out). It is better to start from the bottom - edges of the spines 4 and then one on top. All this, of course, highly conditional, and you can leave just the balls.
Get these krakozyabry :) Baking sheet sprinkled with breadcrumbs, but in the test so much margarine that it is possible to do without it.
Bake in the oven on a small fire (I have this "4" have a gas stove) for 35-40 minutes. In principle, probably less, but I'm always afraid that will not be baked. Take out, let cool.
Now make the icing: satalino mix everything except rum.
Cook on low fire and boil for 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat, mix in the rum to taste and optional (it is possible and without it). But not too much, otherwise the icing will flake. I took 2 tsp.
The icing thickens quickly enough, so I dip hedgehogs backs to the mix.
And sprinkle what you have: breadcrumbs, ground nuts, coconut (if the glaze has rum, it is better not to use, otherwise the flavors will "argue"), waffles and even crushed biscuits. I have a mixture of breadcrumbs and nuts. Better to let the glaze slightly stiffened in case, if you take crackers or cookies. Otherwise, they'll "disappear", in General, to get wet and not be such a contrast and effect spreading.
Don't forget to paint match the nose and eyes.
And beautifully laid on a platter
Looks like the Hedgehog one. Bon appetit!
