In anticipation of the weekend and to lift the winter mood I offer a recipe from my favorite book: "Das große Backbuch". I recommend to use the sun with a Cup of cocoa and a warm blanket with an interesting book ;))

Cooking
The apricots without juice to put in a deep plate covered with kitchen paper to dry. For the dough: Butter (softened), sugar, vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt beat in a food processor until creamy. Add the lemon zest. One by one stir in eggs. Flour, starch and baking powder mix together and slowly add to the dough. Finally add milk and mix well. Spread the batter (fill to 2/3) in silicon or paper molds. If you use paper for durability shape put 3 molds one into the other (see photo). I took silicone and paper. On top of the batter in each mold put half of apricot and slightly flatten.
The oven pre heat to 175 °C and bake our sun about 20 min. Here's how they look already baked in. Be sure to let them cool down.
And while they are cooling, we make lemon pasta. Powdered sugar mix with lemon juice to a thick paste.
With a silicone brush to spread around apricot (cupcakes should be cooled) our lemon pasta. Well, that's all!!!
