Salmon in beer batter
Long wanted to cook something in beer batter. And here's the cooked salmon. And since this recipe on the website was not added. Maybe it will be useful not only me.

Ingredients

  • Fish

    800 g

  • Beer

    250 ml

  • Flour

  • Starch

    1 Tbsp

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Ginger

    1 Tbsp

  • Green tea

    1 pack

  • Lemon juice

    3 Tbsp

  • Salt

Cooking

step-0
If the fillet on the skin - gently remove the skin, cut the fillets into serving pieces. Prepare the fish marinade. To do this, brew a bag of green tea in 100 ml. of hot water, let cool, add salt, ginger and lemon juice. Pour this marinade the fish and leave for 20-30 minutes. (While you can boil the potatoes on the side!)
step-1
For the batter, thoroughly mix flour with starch,
step-2
Add beer and egg, stir.
step-3
Dip fillets in batter and fry in preheated vegetable oil on both sides until cooked (for 3 minutes each side). The fish is prepared quickly, especially because it is pre-marinated with lemon juice. The main thing - do not overdry, because if you cook salmon, pink salmon or sockeye salmon, and so they dry (compared to the "noble" red brothers!)
step-4
Ready fish to lay out for a few minutes on paper towels - they will absorb the excess fat. (In principle, it is not necessary, simply I sometimes do)
step-5
And then serve the fish with the greens and any favorite topping (or not). I made a side dish of mashed potatoes. That's all, Bon appetit!
