Description

Kachori
My distant friend is fond of Indian philosophy and culture. Part of this is the Indian cuisine. Once she treated us with delicious pies, stuffed vegetables-kachori. I googled and found that traditional kachori cook with peas (chickpeas) and beans. For myself, I found an alternative - frozen mixture of mexico. Get quick, delicious and meatless patties.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    1 cup

  • Vegetable oil

    2 Tbsp

  • Water

  • Assorted vegetable

    0.5 pack

  • Spinach

    4 piece

  • Salt

  • Spices

Cooking

step-0
Fry in vegetable oil, frozen vegetable mix and spinach. Add salt and spices. I used a ready all-purpose seasoning blend.
step-1
Flour, vegetable oil and water knead the dough. It should be elastic. By the way, the dough is lean. Kachori is a great dish for fasting.
step-2
Divide the dough into balls (out of this number of products I got 6 pieces). From each roll the round layers like pasties. Put the filling and form a Patty. Traditional kachori is more like patties (seam down), but I liked the shape of pasties.
step-3
As far as I understand, the real kachori is cooked in deep fat. I fried them in vegetable oil. Kachori is ready spread on a napkin to remove excess oil and then onto a plate. Served as a hot or cold snack. By the way, very comfortable these cakes to take to work for snacking :-)
step-4
Bon appetit! This recipe is the second in a collection of dishes of frozen vegetables and fruits. Join the community http://www.povarenok.ru/blog/community/324/
