Pasta with halloumi and mixed peppers
Halloumi - traditional Cypriot white cheese. A truly national product! Cheese is prepared from a mixture of sheep's and goat's milk, with the addition of dried mint, which gives the cheese a distinctive flavor. Halloumi grilled is, you can tell a card of any Cypriot taverns. Because when heated, the cheese does not spread, and is covered with a beautiful Golden crust and keeps its shape. Greece is also in love with this amazing cheese - halloumi and cook different dishes with it. This is one of them.

Ingredients

  • Pasta

    250 g

  • Peppers red hot chilli

    3 piece

  • Green bell pepper

    3 piece

  • Cheese

    225 g

  • Dry white wine

    0.5 cup

  • Mint

    10 piece

  • Cheese

    3 Tbsp

  • Olive oil

    4 Tbsp

  • Black pepper

Wash peppers, cleaned from seeds and cut into slices. Heat in a pan 4 tablespoons of olive oil and add the peppers. On strong fire fry 3 minutes. Then pour 1 /2 Cup dry white wine, add dried mint and turn down the heat to medium.

Halloumi cheese, cut into cubes.

In a nonstick pan without oil browned halloumi. The pasta is cooked, do not overcook! Drain in a colander. Mixed peppers, halloumi and pasta.

Sprinkle with the cheese plate

Imposed on top of pasta and sprinkle with leaves of fresh mint. Black pepper to taste.
