Puff
Delicious pastries with fresh or frozen berries for the Christmas table! Does not require a lot of time and expensive ingredients.

Ingredients

  • The dough is flaky yeast

    500 g

  • Berry

  • Jelly

    1 pack

  • Brown sugar

    100 g

  • Milk

    200 ml

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Butter

    60 g

  • Cocoa powder

    1 Tbsp

  • Corn starch

    25 g

  • Salt

    1 pinch

Cooking

First, prepare the custard. Just say you can prepare the custard according to your favorite recipe. In a saucepan, heat the milk until warm.

In a bowl, mix the egg with sugar and a pinch of salt.

In warm milk add the egg mixture, starch and mix well.

Add cocoa powder, mix well.

The pot put on the fire. Cook over low heat until thick, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon to avoid burning, to desired thickness.

The finished cream remove from heat. Add the softened butter. Mix well.

Custard ready to cover with cling film and put into the refrigerator to cool.

Layer puff pastry roll, cut into 4 squares. On the perimeter, stepping back 8-10 mm make cuts, leaving not the slotted plots the 2 opposite corners. The corners twist.

The cream put the berries. I used currants and raspberries, not thawed. You can use any berries and fruits, but I recommend to add the sweet sour berries.

To cook jelly cake according to the instructions on the package. Pour the cooked jelly on berries. Serve and served to the table. Enjoy your tea!
