Catfish, baked with potatoes
According to my friend, an avid fisherman, get rid of peculiar smell catfish in two ways. First - soak catfish for 3-4 hours in milk. Second - soak catfish in an hour and a half in soy sauce with added lemon juice. Both ways really work. Second - I think it tastes better, and faster. This option I offer. And along with the fish I suggest to bake the potatoes, for which also the marinade will be soy sauce. The marinade for the potatoes I saw in one of the culinary groups in the VC, and then my improvisation.

Catfish to clean, gut, remove the gills. Rinse well and dry, then put in a container of suitable size.

To prepare the marinade for the catfish. This marinade will not only add an extra taste of fish, but, as I wrote in the announcement to the recipe will help to get rid of peculiar smell, characteristic of the soma. You first need to squeeze the juice from half a large lemon.

To the lemon juice add the soy sauce. Soy sauce have so much to marinade coated fish at least halfway. I have som on 1.5 kg. of Soy sauce it took me a whole bottle of 150 ml. Stir the lemon juice and soy sauce, then add to taste spices for fish (I used ready-made spice mixture for fish).

While som "bathed" in the marinade, peel the potatoes. Depending on the size, each potato cut into 4 or 8 parts. Then the potatoes are well rinsed in cold water and put in a colander to drain the water.

To prepare the marinade for the potatoes. To do this, mix olive oil, soy sauce, starch (I have tapioca) to taste spices to the potatoes (I have a ready mix of spices for potatoes).

To shift the potatoes in the marinade, mix well. Temporarily set aside.

About 10 minutes before it is ready I put the potatoes (erratically) cherry tomatoes. I have them whole, You can cut them in half. Or you can even skip this step and do without the cherry.
