Classical ancient Russian recipe.

Ingredients

  • Honey

    150 g

  • Sugar

    100 g

  • Water

    2 l

  • St. John's wort

    3 tsp

  • Carnation

    2 bottle

  • Black pepper

    6 piece

  • Ginger

    0.25 tsp

  • Cinnamon

    1 tsp

  • Mint

    2 tsp

  • Thyme

    0.5 tsp

  • Cardamom

    0.5 tsp

  • Lemon

    0.5 piece

Cooking

Boil the honey in a saucepan, spreading 1 Cup of water. Remove the foam, add sugar and cook together on low heat, without boiling, until smooth.

In the rest of the water cook the spices for 15 – 20 min in a closed vessel, let stand another 10 min. Then strain, add honey-sugar mixture and reheat, without boiling. Only drink hot.
