Description
All integers, whether the bean is very easy to germinate. They taste - like green peas, a little overripe perhaps. So it is convenient to use as a replacement - all salads ( and not only) that I would like to add fresh green peas. Unlike wheat sprouts (recipes I've posted before) from legumes is more "vegetable" taste. And they are stored, germinated, much better, longer than cereal in the fridge you can keep a week's supply. Wheat for three days will turn into a sweet tangle of stems and roots.

Cooking
Lentils, rinse and soak in drinking water for 12 hours. The water should change 1-2 times. Bowl of soaked lentils to cover the plate. Drain the water after 12 hours, leave at the same rate. For germination, there are special containers, etc., recommend the use of a rags-salfetok AMI, laying on the seeds. So I did, but I was too "Morochno". Settled on regular bowls type small bowls, closing their small plates - from the light. The light sprouts can be bitter.
Usually in a day lentils "afoot" and ready for eating. But can be left for 2-3 days
The taste of different varieties is different, but not much. But my salads more like small lentils (here's her day 3).
The simple salad with grated carrots, seasoned with lemon juice and butter. Greens - to taste and availability. Here, peppermint, and lemon balm. So added another few strips of lemon peel.
Very nice to add the lentils in a Kale salad
I germinated not only lentils, but chickpeas (although you can buy in the supermarket) - it's delicious! Eaten up quickly as a treat.
Chickpea lentil sprouts slower, so it should rinse with cold water every 4-6 hours. Otherwise it turns sour.
Sprouted lentils well and add to the soup:
Sometimes sprouted lentils come across dry, not naklyunulis seeds. During meals it is very unpleasant - like stones in the food. To avoid this, is to sort through lentils, removing any broken, damaged grain. In the photo - lentils-the remains from the container "waste". To mush in the soup - fine. For sprouting - not good.
