I admit, the first time cooking this bird. Ordering husband was: so in the sauce, so soft and juicy. It was hard to find this recipe because most of the goose and cooked whole, usually stuffed. Husband, eating goose, said that did not eat more delicious. And he's such a foodie))) I Hope you will like it. I think any bird will do. The recipe comes from the Internet, with my changes. Cooking
The prepared carcass of a goose, cut into pieces. I had a goose weighing 3 kg were used in this recipe. To RUB the meat with black pepper and fry over high heat until Golden brown. Folded into a saucepan, or other cookware with a thick bottom. There also put chopped and fried onion, pour a little water and to extinguish in the closed ware on low heat for about an hour, until almost tender.
Shred fresh cabbage, squeeze the juice from sauerkraut. And to add to the goose. Add salt and 2-3 tablespoons of honey (I forgot to add the honey)))
Take apples, peel cored and cut into slices, add to the gusto
And all this simmer until fully soft apples. I served this delicious with boiled potatoes. Bon appétit!!!
