This is a very delicate cake with a huge amount of apples and nuts. The recipe was taken from the magazine "Lisa: Bon appetit" (where he with pears :-)) but with pears then was tight and I did with the apples...

Cooking
That's what I had at the beginning of cooking. Walnuts coarsely chop. Wash the apples, peel and finely chop (cubes more cubes of refined sugar), sprinkle with lemon juice, not to dark. Beat with a mixer butter, egg, yolk and sugar; to this mixture add the flour, baking powder and ground ginger.
The dough will be thick. Is that even is a spoon.
Mix the batter, apples and nuts - at the expense of apples and their juice all evenly blended. Immediately spread the batter in a greased with oil or fat in the form, level and in the oven, preheated to 200 degrees (so the journal says). My gas oven, with its own character, so I'm sure its warmed up, but the light I had little. Bake pie for 60 minutes, i.e. 1 hour.
The finished cake remove from oven, leave for 15 minutes, then give doostet on the grill... I didn't. Started eating immediately ;-) Another recipe I propose to lubricate the glaze from the juice of the second lemon half and 90 g of powdered sugar... Not oiled, immediately began to eat.
