Cooking
In the bowl of a blender add the softened butter and mix on maximum speed until light yellow in color. Add the sugar and continue to beat at high speed until the sugar is dissolved.
Add the egg, continuing to whisk. Then add warm milk and beat again. To collect oil from the walls of the bowl.
Sift the flour and cocoa powder, add the salt and instant dry yeast. Mix well.
In makenow mixture add flour and knead the dough by using nozzle hook at medium-high speed until the dough comes together and the walls of the bowl are clean. Continue to knead the dough for about 1 minute.
Shift waffle batter in a large bowl, tighten with cling film and leave to rise for about 50-60 minutes. The dough should increase in 1,5 times.
At this time prepare caramel sauce. (The website contains a lot of recipes for caramel sauce, you can choose any). Cane or brown sugar (I had Demerara TM Mistral) grind in a coffee grinder into powder.
In a deep saucepan add the powdered sugar (you can just sugar, longer to melt) and heat until until the sugar melts and acquires a nice brown color. I recommend to refrain from stirring during the caramelization of sugar.
Very carefully gradually pour in the warm cream, stirring vigorously. Be warned, the mixture will be quite sizzle, so be careful not to burn yourself. In addition, use a deep pot as I have. The fire off. Add butter and salt. Mix well until a homogeneous creamy texture. Salted caramel sauce to pour into a gravy boat. Unused can be stored in the refrigerator.
In skillet, heat butter and fry the peeled and sliced bananas. Then add brown sugar, continuing to fry in a pan until a caramel taste. Fire off and set aside.
Coming up next, divide the dough into 8 equal parts and roll into balls. If you prefer big waffles, you can divide into 6 parts. Again cover with cling film and allow to rest for 10-15 minutes.
Bake waffles in electrovalence.
Waffles spread out on the serving plates, add the fried bananas and pour the salted caramel sauce. Bon appetit!
