Orange muffins with rosemary
I love baking with oranges and I'm a big fan of rosemary!!! I add it to almost all dishes that I cook, love rosemary in baked goods!! Yes Yes! In sweet baked goods it unique!! Stunning aroma of rosemary and orange, will drive anyone crazy))). While preparing this cake that I was afraid that the scent and aroma in the apartment was magical, running with all the neighbors))). In General, I highly recommend to cook this cake!!! I have it enriched with cashew nuts and candied ginger. This oochen delicious!

Ingredients

  • Butter

    200 g

  • Brown sugar

    200 g

  • Chicken egg

    4 piece

  • Flour

    400 g

  • Leavening agent

    10 g

  • Orange

    2 piece

  • Rosemary

    1 sprig

  • Powdered sugar

    3 Tbsp

  • Orange juice

    1 Tbsp

  • Ginger

    50 g

  • Cashews

    100 g

Cooking

Rosemary (just the needles) finely chop. From 2 of the oranges to remove the zest finely.

SL soft beat butter with the Demerara sugar TM Mistral.

To drive 1 egg, whisking after each addition. From oranges to squeeze the juice and pour in the egg-oil mixture of 150 ml (the rest of the juice aside for frosting) and beat again.

In a bowl sift the flour and baking powder, add the chopped candied ginger.

Add the zest and rosemary.

Add the nuts and mix well.

Add the egg-oil mixture and stir everything until smooth.

Put the fondant for the cake in a greased and dusted with flour, shape and bake the cake at 180 g for 45 min.

The finished cake to cool and pour glaze. To prepare glaze, grind sakh powder with orange juice.

I also decorated the cake with fresh cranberries, fresh rosemary and orange zest.
