Tartlets rice pudding
These tartlets from old English cuisine, the recipe of which is almost forgotten even in England. Dessert is pretty unusual for us, but anyway very tasty. And if his serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and caramelized kumquat, it will be a real decoration of the festive table.

Ingredients

  • Shortbread dough

    400 g

  • Flour

  • Sugar

  • Cream

    100 ml

  • Milk

    250 ml

  • Rice flakes

  • Vanilla

  • Lemon peel

Prepare the shortbread dough. Mix the flour, salt, powdered sugar. Add cold butter, diced. Quickly, with your fingertips, RUB the butter and the flour to a state of crumbs the size of a pea. Mix the egg with water and lemon juice. Pour in the flour and quickly knead the dough. Long knead not necessary. Put it on 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
