Cooking
I usually cook this dish when I cook soup from a large piece of beef, perhaps even on the bone. Also suitable beef brisket, meaty piece. Boil meat in the broth, cook the soup, and the flesh will be the second one! So, boiled meat cut into pieces across the grain. If the original piece was large - medallions, if smaller (like me) - then just small pieces.
Prunes rinse, pour boiling water for 15-20 minutes. This is done in order to prunes softer.
Large onion cut in half and cut into quarters rings.
2 cloves of garlic finely chop with a knife.
In a hot pan pour sunflower oil and fry the onion and garlic until transparent bow.
Add chopped meat, fry slightly on all sides pieces. I move the pan the onions aside and put the meat to roast.
Mix with onion and again to move everything to the side.
On a vacant place, pour 2 tbsp flour, flatten slightly and fry, stirring with a wooden spatula. Mix well the flour with the meat to the flour evenly around the pieces.
Pour the broth (in which the cooked meat or any other vegetable) or water, stir. With this technology lumps does not work:).
When boiling, add the prunes, mix well. Simmer for 5-7 minutes (until the prunes are soft).
Add salt, freshly ground black pepper.
Meat with plums in a thick sauce ready. Garnish with rice or mashed potatoes. Bon appetit!
