Magyar strudel
Don't know a single person who wouldn't love strudel, but many are afraid of the process of stretching the dough. I offered to bake a wonderful Apple treat without this "terrible& amp;quot; process. As the name implies, the recipe is old, perhaps this is a precursor to those Apple rolls-strudels, which we know now. The Hungarians at the time were the legislators of culinary fashion in the Austria-Hungarian Empire, and you will pay tribute to their imagination and talent, when you hear the crunch of delicate dough and feel the sweetness of the Apple filling.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    500 g

  • Salt

    1 pinch

  • Yolk egg

  • Sugar

    2 Tbsp

  • Cinnamon

    2 tsp

  • Almonds

  • Butter

  • Powdered sugar

  • Egg white

As in most old recipes for the dough, you will use melted (but frozen, of course) fat. All who used it know what the dough was thin, crispy, very tasty. So, the dough should be prepared the day before. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients, knead the dough.

Wrap the dough in cling film and put in the fridge until the next day.

Apples cleaned, remove core, grate on a coarse grater. I use a food processor.

Divide the dough in two and roll out two rectangles the size of potion, baking Pan normal big, all over the oven. Baking tray lay baking paper, put one part of the test. The dough is very pleasant, easily rolled.

Put the second rectangle of dough, to take the edge, densely prick the dough with a fork, place in preheated oven and bake at 180 degrees for about 20-25 minutes. Then remove the pie from the oven, quickly RUB it with protein, whipped with a fork, sprinkle top with remaining almonds and put again in the oven for 10 minutes.

Cut into pieces, if desired they can be sprinkled with powdered sugar. Pie perfect in both warm and cold. Look at what the test structure is obtained. It is almost puff pastry, in the preparation of which it took us five minutes of work and a night of lying in the fridge!
