Potato pancakes in the pan
Fragrant potato pancakes, fried in a pan. Such pellet is well served for afternoon snack, dinner, milk or hot tea.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes

    2 piece

  • The broth

    200 ml

  • Sundried tomatoes

  • Sugar

    1 Tbsp

  • Salt

  • Yeast

  • Flour

Boil potatoes, drain the broth into another bowl, the potatoes well to mash these into a homogeneous puree. You need 5-6 tablespoons of prepared sauce. Onions finely chop, fry in vegetable oil in a frying pan until transparent, add together with the butter in the mashed potatoes.

Sun-dried tomatoes and fresh herbs (I had Basil), finely chop and add to mashed potatoes.

In the warm broth to dissolve the sugar, salt and dry yeast (it will foam), pour in the puree and mix quickly.

Gradually add the flour, carefully vymeshivaem shovel the dough. It will be sticky, more like a puree than a dough. Leave the dough in a warm place for 1.5-2 hours. Punch down the dough, it is almost not sticky, but very soft, leave for another 30 minutes.

Work surface sprinkle with flour, spread a tablespoon amount of dough needed for one pellet, just to priporoshit flour and to flatten the right palm, forming a round cake thickness of about 0.5 cm.

In a frying pan heat a little rust. oil (I prefer to fry in a small pan for one cake), transfer the cake into the pan and fry under the lid on very low heat until Golden brown on both sides (about 2-3 minutes each side). The oil to pour if necessary. Yield - 8 scones. Serve the scones warm.
