Sweet potatoes in caramel
In China desserts are interesting, there is, in our view, and quite unusual. For example, the fruits in caramel fairly traditional dish, but the potatoes...And even if it is sweet potatoes still taste funny. Crispy caramel, and under it – almost fries. But worth a try, good work!

Ingredients

  • Sweet potato

  • Vegetable oil

  • Powdered sugar

The sweet potatoes clean, rinse and dry well. Cut into medium-sized pieces. It is possible to replace the usual sweet potatoes, but not too razvratik.

Heat the oil in a suitable roasting deep-fried dishes. Fry the Yam pieces until Golden brown. Spread on paper to remove excess oil.

In a skillet – better nonstick – or wok - heat up a spoonful of flavored oil – sesame or other to taste. Pour the powdered sugar – I used TM "Haas" - and, while stirring, to melt it into caramel.

Quickly add the sesame seeds, spread the sweet potato and stir with a spatula to cover the entire sweet potato with a layer of caramel.

Quickly spread the sweet potato on a lightly oiled dish and serve immediately, adding a bowl of ice water in which it is necessary to dip a piece of sweet potato in the hot caramel. From the icy waters of the crust of caramel will become brittle and will not stick to the teeth, and the risk of burns is considerably reduced. To wash down this treat well green tea with your favorite flavor. I prefer Jasmine.
