Cake
A light cake made of puff pastry with chunks of dried fruit and walnuts.

Ingredients

  • The dough is flaky unleavened

    500 g

  • Milk

    350 ml

  • Sugar

    1 cup

  • Chicken egg

    2 piece

  • Flour

    2 Tbsp

  • Butter

    200 g

  • Prunes

    150 g

  • Walnuts

    200 g

  • Garnet

    100 g

Cooking

Milk mixed with 1/2 Cup sugar, eggs and flour, bring to a boil, whisking, remove from heat and cool.

Walnuts, dried fruit, finely chop.

Softened butter RUB with remaining sugar.

Mix oil with sugar mixed with cold cream, beat with a mixer, add the dried fruit and nuts.

Divide the dough into 3 parts, roll out layers with a thickness of 3-4 mm, put on a baking tray, prick with a fork and bake in the oven at 200 C for 15 minutes.

To assemble the cake, coat with cream each layer, edge trim (crumb brim will be useful for sprinkling the top).

Top to decorate crumbs and pomegranate seeds. Cake to sustain to soak a minimum of 1 hour, the longer the better (if possible, preferably three hours, then he completely soaked, becomes soft and more delicious!)
